Rae Rae's Recipe with Save A Lot: Since they are running a special this week on Roma Tomatoes (.99/lb) and they have their pick 5 meats for $19.99, I thought why not make Spaghetti and Meatballs!
The Ingredients you'll need:
* Pasta (of course!!)
... For the Meatballs:
1 1/4 ground beef
2 teaspoons of Worcestershire Sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup of Italian Bread Crumbs
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan Cheese
2 cloves of Garlic
Salt and Pepper
For the Sauce:
2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoons of red pepper flakes
4 cloves of garlic
1 small onion chopped
1 cup of beef stock
1-1 1/2 cups of crushed tomatoes
A handful of chopped flat-leaf parsley
10 fresh basil leaves
Boil a large pot of water, when water comes to a boil add salt and pasta and let cook until done.
Mix beef, Worcestershire, egg, bread crumbs, chhese, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Roll meat into a medium sixe meatballs and place in the oven at 425 degrees for approximately 12 minutes.
Heat a deep skilltet, add oil, crushed, garlic, and onoin.
Saute for at least 5 minutes.
Add beef stock, crushed tomatoes, and herbs.
Let simmer for 10 minutes.
Add everything together and you have Spaghetti and Meatballs!
