RAE RAE'S RECIPE WITH SAVE A LOT

by Rae Rae posted Mar 28 2012 11:27AM

IT'S RAE RAE'S RECIPE WITH SAVE A LOT: This week at Save A LOt they have Kaskey's Cream of Mushroom, chicken, celery, broccoli, and potato soups 69 cents each. Coburn Farms Cream Cheese 8 oz. $1.39, and Ginger Evans Chocolate and Vanilla Instant Pudding 2/$1.00

When I saw Cream of Mushrrom Soup, I automatically thought Chicken and Rice, so this week we are doing something called One Dish Chicken ...and Rice (It's also convenient that it's all made in one dish, that calls for easy clean up!)

Ingredients:
1 can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup of water
3/4 cup of uncooked regular long-grain rice
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 of ground black pepper
1 1/4 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves.

Directions:
Stir the soup, water, rice, paprika, and black pepper in a 2 quart shallow baking dish. Top with the chicken and season with additional paprika and black pepper. Cover the baking dish.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.

It is that simple and DELICIOUS! A must try! =)

Happy Cooking! =)
